Distorted Sound
This album is a tour-de-force and it should definitely be considered SILENT PLANET‘s magnum opus.

Metal Injection

The electronic flavors on Superbloom showcase a desire to stay up with the times, but in no way does that make it another instance of Architects copycat-ism. Silent Planet takes some serious chances this time around, but in no way compromises their subject matter or musicality.

Kerrang!

California metalcore mob Silent Planet mix djent, electro and shoegaze to intoxicating effect on fascinating fifth album SUPERBLOOM.

Angry Metal Guy

While it certainly has its moments, Superbloom finds Silent Planet between a metalcore rock and a djent hard place, a dilemma that hardly seems necessary given their historically unique sound.

Silent Planet and Garrett are back!

After the quite solid record Iredescant, I was hoping for something good. The singles have been promising, but nothing I really came back at all that much at all, so I was hoping that the whole project would put everything in place and deliver a concise and banging Metalcore album.

And they kinda did that! This album reminds me a lot of The Death We Seek by Currents, but a little better. The songs have pretty interesting ideas and the riffs go ... read more

I wanted to like this album since the metalcore community goes crazy over this band. Unfortunately, this album didn’t really succeed at gaining my interest.

Despite that, I do have some positives to say about the album and band. I have listened to other Silent Planet projects like Iridescent and Everything Was Sound, which I think are both solid albums for modern melodic metalcore. With this new album, Silent Planet focus on experimenting with EDM almost similar in a way to Northlane ... read more

I despise clean, overproduced vocals in any metal sub genre. There are unfortunately many overproduced vocals here. The actual instrumentation is horrible as well. It sounds like low effort video game music for angsty teens. I’m baffled at the high ratings.

Silent Planet na nowej płycie postawili na zmianę brzmienia. Mamy tu sporo czystych wokali, trochę elektroniki i innych ciekawych zabiegów muzycznych. Mix i produkcja świetna - bardzo lubię gdy nagrania są czyste i wyraźnie słychać każdy instrument. Płyta solidna, zrównoważona kombinacja cięższych i lżejszych brzmień, charakterystyczny wokal. Antimatter to jedna z moich ulubionych piosenek 2023 roku. Myślę, że zespół idzie w bardzo dobrym kierunku.

This grew on me a bit, it's a good album, just had to get used to the sound, which was a bit weird at first. Collider is a banger, and there are a lot of other songs that are cool as well.
