So short but so sweet! TWRP dropped by and left me wanting more! An amazing and funky release!

TWRP’s futuristic, funky brand of synth rock is still fun on ‘Friends of the Blues.’ However, after a promising introduction with “Birth of the Blues,” Electric Six’s overly campy vocals on “VHS” put a damper on what’s otherwise a well constructed jam. “Summer Everyday” has a fun vacation-y vibe though, and “Have You Heard?” rounds the EP out with the most balanced track of the bunch.
