The Pharcyde pull back their high energy hooligans, and instead rap smoothly over lo-fi beats, some of which are brought to you by none other than J Dilla. This album is a little over an hour in length, meaning it does drag every so often. These guys are still spitting fantastic bars, and flowing river-like, but this is definitely a couple pegs short of their debut, and the next 2 records aren't looking so good either. Either way, great album, worth a listen or two (≧∀≦)ゞ

It drags a bit in places and it's not quite as energized and hooky as Bizarre Ride, but smooth, jazzy rap suits them very well regardless and it's got PHENOMENAL highs.
