About this EP: I've always had some interest about Steve Lacy for his work with the group the Internet. Now that i got the chance to listen to this, i'll say this:
HELL YES THIS WAS GOOD. I still need to listen to his latest album but this shit was really satisfying to listen to, even just clocking in at 20 minutes.

FAV TRACKS: Ryd, Dark Red, Thangs, Some

LEAST FAV TRACK: Haterlovin

Despite only clocking under 20 minutes, Steve Lacy demo tape shows much promises from the ex-bass player of the California band The Internet. Its one of the funkiest and funniest rnb record you will hear all from last year. If this kid only tightens his grooves and strengthen his song/writing, he will definitely have a bright future to come.
