Jid manages to create his own unique style with his debut album which many rappers struggle to do as quick as jid could. His electric flows and insane rhyme schools are extremely impressive on tracks like NEVER,LAUDER and general.

after the forever story, i went back and listened to his debut album, wasn’t expecting much, but, although it wasn’t as good as the forever story, it was very good. felt very unique and the production was pretty good too. flows weren’t quite as good as they are now, but they aren’t bad at all.
