My avoidance of Trance EM has much to do with the percussion being high in the mix. My ears like to seek out the rhythm line(s) and follow along. Put it in my face and you lose me instantly. So, it makes sense that I would purposely avoid EM bands making Trance music. Still, one develops different interests that sometimes contradict the original objection to a musical genre. Thanks to @wedanceonrepeat I stand (appropriately corrected) I am now sufficiently schooled in describing Shpongle's style(s) of "Electronica." Which, by the way is driving me mad. Not due to being schooled. Hell no. It's never too late to learn. The sub-style labels refer to a specific accent or twist or derivation of the more generalized Style. However, way too frequently do I see posting referring to Style(s) as a genre. So to those many of you that persist on doing this... STOP NOW.
