Remo Drive keeps the torch lit for emo with their promising debut.
Though the songs all sound extremely similar, and the recordings are kind of rough, there's a youthful, optimistically nihilistic charm about this album that makes me smile.
his is the most 90s album that came out of 2017.
The most talked about point of this album is that 'It's no masterpiece!!' and that 'It's just fun!'. And that's very valid point to talk about with an album like this, because it is just a fun, in your face, loud and brash punk debut that isn't trying to send a big message or try to change the game. When it comes down to it, I listen to music that I enjoy. I enjoy music for different reasons, but Remo Drive's Greatest Hits is just plain fun. It's no masterpiece, but I can't get enough of it.
