‘Gold’ is a record that dares to be optimistic in an increasingly dark world. It’s soulful euphoria as a form of protest, a song cycle that revels in the quiet power of connection; in a catalogue replete with soaring highs, ‘Gold’ touches the clouds.

The album is further proof that the musical relationship at the heart of this, and many others, is golden and there are no signs of any lustre being lost.

The goal of Cleo Sol's fourth record "Gold" seems to be helping the listener improving their self-esteem by singing about how faith in God and self-care, respect and love can help. Every vocal performance from the singer sounds very delicate and is as sweet as honey.

Meh...

After such a fantastic release earlier this year, I was excited to hear this one. And it just doesn't do it for me.

Really bummed I didn't like it that much
