Second album I'm going to for the first time as part of my 30years of music review (1992-2022). the Jayhawks are a band that I've heard of but heard heard any of their tracks. Not bad, like a more straight down the line Wilco. Leans a little too heavily to earnest Americana like John Cougar a little perhaps. that might be a misjudged criticism or observation perhaps without really knowing a lot of Americana.
