this is high-quality songwriting if i've ever heard it....

This ain't your Miley Cyrus song but this was quite a surprise. For a main reason simply put, this is a country record that goes beyond its way and to its own world, combining Americana, dream pop and melodic alt-country styles with deft and atmosphere. Kudos to Daniel Lanois for producing such lush, warm effort of grace and style.
