I've always struggled with Sufjan Stevens despite respecting his craft and the deep inner place his work comes from, this live album makes Carrie & Lowell more digestible and in fact deeply enjoyable.
Therefore I feel his albums should be more live-treated instead of the studio-polish which simply turns me off of most of his releases. Some voices should really only be behind a piano or an acoustic guitar.
