With or without this 1001 albums challenge, I knew I would eventually make my way into Traffic. Just the album name itself "John Barleycorn Must Die", I feel has been cemented in my mind since I became a music nerd. I DONT KNOW, maybe that's just my experience.

This album is the most commercial and consistent-sounding Traffic ever produced but I don't think the highs are quite as memorable as the highs off the less consistent Traffic (1968) or Last Exit (1969).
