Kristian Matsson’s debut as The Tallest Man on Earth undoubtedly channels early Bob Dylan — but then again, Dylan never would have written lyrics quite in this fashion. “Shallow Grave” is a lovely introduction to a highly talented folk musician, with an unusual talent for making outwardly fey, natural-world-minded lyrics come across as simultaneously inviting and menacing.
