Power metal band whichd raws massive influence from classic was one of the first bands to create this new genre of symphonic power metal and sets the foundation of the sub genre even if I say then lean more towards power metal than symphonic metal it is hard to deny the impact Angels Cry had to the metal scene. Also on the lowest of keys the wuthering heights cover is amazing

Angra were not quite the inventors of Symphonic Metal – that accolade would have to go to X Japan – but they were absolutely at the forefront of its development. What’s more, the style of Symphonic Power Metal first crafted on “Angels Cry” is a style that has carried on to the present day.
