Oh my god that is heaven. The sound here is ethereal and shoegazy at the same time, it’s an amazing example of a perfect shoegaze album.
Honestly, I'm pretty surprised. I'm generally a pretty massive fan of shoegaze, Slowdive is a band I've been known to love in the past, mainly through their self-titled release in 2017 which is to this day still an album I love a lot, but something about this album just didn't really grab my attention in the same way that that one did. Still, it's very pretty and there are some very nice instrumentals, I just wasn't as immediately blown away by this record as I have been with other releases.
