I am a small fan of Polica.
This release is brilliant.
I would not skip any song from this release, although I wish the energy was consistent all throughout.
Positives- every songs here shines on its own.
I do prefer the catchy songs a lot more than the deep cuts, but everything is still enjoyable.
I would purchase this one and a little excited to spin it again.
Moody synths echo off her bathroom tiles and the drums tap along like dripping water; for 50 minutes you are prisoner in Channy's house and there is trouble in paradise.
We don't get much in the way of variety over the 12 tracks (the sunlight never quite cracks through the curtains) but her pain is very real.
