This album frightens me. I feel on edge as it plays on the stereo of my speeding car driving through an uncharted wooded territory, at least that's the setting it depicts for me. Something about the progressive, jazzy sound presents a primal, dangerous sound.
A random Youtube recommendation actually pays off

Dreams is a beautiful mixture of gypsy-inspired jazz-guitar soloing over a mixture of strings with some light percussion. The production is wonderfully clear in a near timeless manner and the use of hard-panning in the mix creates an unusual listening experience with specific instruments only appearing for a moment at a time and only in one ear adding to the dream-like quality of the rest of the album
Szabo Gabor and his band attempt to transform their folk-jazz fusion into dreams, the kind of dreams that provide a valuable relaxation, despite their steady reference to the past.
My friend crystal would always play this record front to back.
