Welp, that was wild. Glassjaw showed some two sides of EYEWTKAS, which I'm gonna tell you.
The left side is the desperate faith by its melodic parts and lyrics (for example the title track). Beautiful progressions on "Ry Ry's Song" or "When One Eight Becomes Two Zeros" or calm starts on "Piano" and "Majour". This that deafed owns!!! Obvious comparisons to Deftones aside, this is an astounding piece of post-hardcore music with its only true fault being that Daryl's anger loses focus at times, and instead of directing hate at his presumed abusive ex the singer just ends up being a straight up Misogynist on the songs "Lovebites and Razorlines" and "Hurting and Shoving."
