On Saturation, Brockhampton jells in a way no other group their size has in quite some time. Definitely my frontrunner for hip hop project of the year at the moment.
SATURATION is a music fan’s hip-hop album. It’s a carefully constructed mosaic of pop-culture references, antagonistic rhymes and a chemistry between the members of the "boy band" which cannot be understated.
THE MOST WELL PRODUCED, CHARISMATIC, AND LIKABLE RECORD OF THE YEAR. PT. 2 THIS SUMMER.
FAVS: STAR, MILK, HEAT.
EDIT: FUCK IT, SATURATION > DAMN. HIP HOP AOTY
EDIT 2: SATURATION II WAS EVEN BETTER FUCK. NOW WE GOT TWO ALBUMS OF THE SUMMER.
Announcement below the review!
