Pretty damn solid debut with a fair amount of charm, riffage, and decent hooks. I just wish more of the tracks measured up to the legitimately fantastic San Francisco. Nose Over Tail, Southern Rock, and Trouble Breathing are pretty great too, but it's not enough to fully push the album into stellar territory.

This album starts off with its best foot forward, and continues a pretty solid streak throughout its runtime. The instrumentation blasts off with a punk energy that, admittedly, goes unmatched throughout the rest of their discography. I have tickets for an Alkaline Trio concert in March so I figured I'd run through their discography beforehand. Unlike some of the other bands I've tried to review full discographies of, I've never listened to one of their albums in entirety so I started from the beginning. It's such a good debut album.
