Igorrr's Spirituality and Distortion was an odd album for me, because while I enjoyed most of the tracklist, it was a rough listen all of the way through, mostly because listening to too many of the strange metal fusions in one sitting got quite grating. I went into the predecessor, Savage Sinusoid, hoping for a more gratifying listening experience, because of how much I enjoyed some of the individual tracks off of Spirituality and Distortion, but with this album, I am still left with mixed ... read more

Absolute brain fryer this one melt your ears into a dark abyss of loud screaming and belting guitar riffs and squelching accordions.

Talk about experimental. In it's first 10 minutes alone, Igorrr go through at lest 7 genres, ranging from operatic to EDM to black metal. Yet somehow, there is cohesion in the madness. The sounds don't sound too distant to take away from the experience, and at times it works rather well. But other times...yeah it's a mindfuck to say the very lest. savage sinusoid focuses heavily on the metal aspect of igorrr, much more-so than the previous albums did, and it does fine, but leaves a little to be desired.
