For their thirteenth studio album, the Kinks continue along with the story started on Preservation Act 1 with its sequel Preservation Act 2, an album that might not have the most standout songs in their catalogue, but the longer run time and extensive character building throughout do a good job of fleshing out the story into a satisfying conclusion. Slightly underrated album
This album is kinda mixed for me. I like the album when I first listening to it, now relistening to it for a 3rd and 4th, it is kinda tough for me, like it has some moments and it also have some stuff. The announcements are just there. This album is an album.
Favorites: Nobody Gives, Nothing Lasts Forever, Artificial Man, Mirror of Love, Money Talks, He's Evil
Least Favorites: Flash's Dream, all of the announcements (they're not music), Shepherds of the Nation(kinda, I don't know)
