This rating is based on the updated, re-recorded and mixed re-released version, which is far better due to having drums that don't sound like ass.

Crossing another classic metal album off my list and oh yeah, this absolutely rips. Such strange, complex grooves to the point where it's hard to find the proper place to headbang, but that's part of its charm and appeal. Riffs pilled on riffs of pure djent goodness. This would become a blueprint for so many shitty rip off bands in the future. But the source definitely is way higher in quality than the albums that came after it. This album is 53 minutes of nearly flawless djent progressions
