The album may have been full of angst, but it wasn't hard to sing along to. As a result, Tea for the Tillerman became a big seller and, for the second time in four years, its creator became a pop star.

"Tea for the Tillerman", the breakout album from Cat Stevens (or Yusuf), is quite an interesting release, to say the least. Sonically, it's a quaint collection of folk-rock tracks, welcoming, comforting and endearing in all of its soft and tranquil melodies. a record that take's a simple, quaint approach and manages to maintain a very charming and comforting feel throughout the record. not too many high or low points other than the big hit, just very consistently heartwarming.

Absolute classic of an album. What can I say that hasn't been said already... This was the peak of Cat Stevens and was one of the biggest record of it's time, Cat Stevens soft voice filled with very thoughtful lyrics over amazing musical company.
You may find as well some of the big classics like Wild World and Father and Son.
