Mary’s breakthrough album ‘My Life’ isn’t as charming as her debut but it’s equally influential. The songs aren’t as strong and the album feels bloated, but it remains a joyful listen.

Diddy's drum-heavy production carries through this album, generously giving us 5-6 minute songs to get lost in. This is the not the album that Mary J is known for but it needs to be. Building off the success of "Real Love" - her best song - this entire album mimics that R&B-hip/hop fusion.
