Letlive., back in 2013, had the distinction of being touted, in what very quickly trickled into a "flavor of the month" sort of title for newer bands that arose from the scene, as the band to turn all other metal, post-hardcore bands on their heads and come out with something new. It was as if the kids in the Warped Tour scene of that era, me included, admitted to their gate keeping of the music that they listened to, which was always formulaic and deprived of any substance. Letlive. comes out with a molotov cocktail of adrenaline and frustration and commentary on the state of 2010s America. It's a fascinating ride, and a spectacle of a listen.

Favorite tracks: Banshee (Ghost Fame), White America's Beautiful Black Market, Virgin Dirt, The Dope Beat
