As fond as I am of extreme metal, an album that is both thrash metal and death metal is almost the best thing I could pretty much ask for. So few bands have the strength and secured confidence in their stylistic changes as Sepultura. The album is thrash-orientated like its predecessor "Beneath the Remains" whereas earlier works such as "Morbid Visions" was more death-thrash, and then with the likes of "Schizophrenia" came that harder thrash metal quality.
