Will this pave the way to a dancier new era, or is it merely a hugely entertaining detour? Either way, we’ll take it.

The UK rapper celebrates her wins and flexes her Portuguese on an EP that pulses and jumps with a funky digital spark.

Would be nice to hear Simz develop these sounds further on her next LP.

Simz creates a futuristic sounding project with electronic music complimenting her pretty stilted flow. It just is not a great combo. Her low energy style of rap with this type of music is really bad. It really brings out her flaws as an artist

That being said, she is not washed up due to a bad project. It is an experiment made in 3 days. Nothing to get mad over

Thank god I'm listening to this instead of Kanye right now.

1. Mood Swings: Wow this track is a damn banger you guys don't understand shit, I've seen the low track rating and I thought it's gonna be ass. This is probably one of the most experimental tracks that Simz has released in a minute and I love it. As much as I love Little Simz' music, I Ain't Feelin' this EP.

Little Simz still offers her signature flows which are always charismatic and on point when it comes to the level of energy; any wonder why she's a hip-hop favourite these days?

I'd also say that the production itself is versatile; Simz keeps her ... read more

Was I expected Little Simz to try out Electronic and Dance music, not at all. Was it good, for the most part, yeah it was solid. Id like to see her flesh this sound out way more on a full length project, but as it stands, this is a pretty good EP>

A strange yet small and inoffensive detour in Simbi’s catalogue

you know, even if Drop 7 isn't Simz's best work, there's gotta be something addictive about it because I've been coming back to it a LOT the past couple of days. The production on Mood Swings kinda goes hard it just runs around in your ears in a really cool way and compliments her steady flow on it.

SOS has barely any Simbi actually on it which is what lowers the score for me - and I Ain't Feelin It doesn't really do it for me (I'm aware these aren't original opinions lol). I like her lyrics ... read more
