While it is a step up from Subtronics's previous record, as there aren't nearly as many dated tropes and progressions plaguing it, TESSERACT still makes me ask the question: "Why is Subtronics one of the biggest acts in bass music right now?" .

Least fave track: Insidious
Subtronics continues his pursuit of some of the most bizarre and stylistically weird bass music out there. But for as much gold as there is on this record, there is equally as much dirt. I commend Subtronics' ability to pack such sonic diversity into this record, but that coincidently is part of what's holding it back.
