A Love Letter To You contains some of some of Trippie’s most unenjoyable and underdeveloped songs. There’s no a whole lot on this album that’s in any way good or enjoyable. A lot of it is whiny and low quality. It’s all basic and amateur teenager rap. The rapping isn’t really good except on songs that actually are rapped instead of whined in which they do have some pretty nice flows. The production overall is just bad as well. Overall, not a project really worth ... read more

In my eyes this contains Trippie's best song to date and my favourite from him and I've been listening since 2016, this track being Love Scars, what a song. Love Scars 2 is also very catchy, Romeo & Juliet is great. Poles is obviously a great collab from when the two got along. Can You Rap Like Me? Showcases Trippie's rapping ability. There is a very nice range of vocals and style of tracks here, which is finished off by Never Ever Land which in my eyes is very good.

I love how raw this mixtape is, especially on the song Love Scars. It is occasionally a little too raw with many vocal blemishes and bad singing on a couple songs. Still, the rawness gives this mixtape something unique. It's also very psychedelic at points, again mentioning Love Scars, this is a great example. VERY inconsistent though. There are some serious stinkers on here.

This rating would be a lot higher because there are some bangers on this just the bad songs... are very bad and brings down the score. I’ll drop the bangers tho.

best tracks: love scars, romeo & juliet, poles 1469, stoves on 14th

worst tracks: love scars pt.2, limitless, no smoke no smoke, can u rap like me?
