Despite the long-winded nature of the album, Uzi definitely got it right with Luv Is Rage 2. The songs are catchy, the beats are hot and Uzi gives a vocal performance that redefines the term rap rock star. He still might be searching for his magnum opus album but if he keeps putting out projects like this, and growing along the way, Uzi will find his classic sooner rather than later.
The Philadelphia native was always known for his catchy hooks, but on this record he pushes his sound to more mainstream levels.
Uzi’s latest project comes very close to delivering on the chaotic, sublime promise of “XO Tour Llif3.” It’s the Philly rapper’s most musically developed work to date.

It's spacey and really atmospheric, offering some of his more psychedelic styles of songs, which are definetly the ... read more
This album is full of catchy bars and beats, and is really fun to listen to.
