The Line of Best Fit

Snow is a welcome return to serene sounds which stay true to the minimalist production of previous endeavours.

AllMusic

Combined with simple choruses that are light on verbiage, and a persistent use of delay, the album takes on a sleepy demeanor that drifts by like a long drive, squinting against the glare of snow-covered plains.

Beautiful, chill and soft but there was something missing...there wasn't a real spark with most songs.
Favs: Nothing Else, Baudelaire, Sylvester Stallone, Chateau and Cellar Door.

These siblings can sooth the beast in all of us, even when they introduce some chill beats into their dimension...

Angus and Julia Stone start off their latest with a keeper in the title track -- the back-and-forth conversation of the first two verses, ending in one unison line before the chorus, sees them playing to their strengths and creating something memorable. However, many songs are let down by a tendency to drift (pardon the pun) and continue indefinitely, their unique voices used a bit too sparingly to breathe a bit more life into the slower midtempo pacing.

This album is almost my favorite, but Down The Way stil are
Cellar Door, Baudelaire and Chateau are my favorite songs, and the whole lp has a great concept. I love them.
