This debut is far from the fully-realised final product, but as blueprints for future releases go, it's pretty special.

Fear Before the March of Flames have both potential and an excellent band name, but their debut album suggests they have a way to go yet.

it’s weird, blood brothers like i guess? it’s very influenced by it’s time, like if The Blood Brothers and The Used had a love child. and it works!

So many bands with vocals like this seam like a jump scare at a haunted house - In that it stops you dead in your tracks but the feeling can leave as soon as your visceral reaction fades. But with FBTMOF we see a Blood brothers like attention to detail and theme. Odd how People Shake makes sense from a storytelling perspective. Allowing plenty of downtime between crushing bouts of chaos and hap hazard guitar solos that seem to be hanging on by a thread.

Been a while since I’ve listened to this band but like, did I like this? It was meh, it’s screamo, is it my genre? Not rlyyy but I do appreciate it, I liked a few of their other songs as they did engaging things. However this was very blanddddd and not interesting tbh. The last 3 songs were good tho and odd but ye.
Might stop with this band they don’t rly engage me all that much
