Escapades, offers a beautiful underground club queer culture vision of extravagance, elegance and bitchin' attitude. The single falls flat on it's face with the handling of the vocal production. Pitch control, vocal command and a few warm ups would have gone a very long way with this track. Overall the single is a beautiful introduction to Fantasea II


She was really in a low state when she released this, but here's proof that she still shines through the emotional cracks.

Love the music video as well.


I'm surprised it didn't go viral, but her "comeback" performance at Highline Ballroom last year (for which she made her first ever TV appearance to promote) was a total nightmare. The lack of attention it got is what confirmed to me that publications really are only interested in her when she's doing something other than music, but it's kind of in her favor that they didn't report on it.
