This is actually a bit of a goth banger but of course in typical late Numan style every track is at least a minute too long
While it is a small improvement over the previous album, I'm still having a hard time to properly enjoy this. I have to admit that the sound and instrumental definitely isn't as noisy and aggressive as they were before, so I call that an improvement. Some of the dramatic songs are done pretty well too. But my old points really stand in here as well, this album isn't offering anything particularly very interesting or original for me.

Numan returns to cinematic futuristic soundscapes on savage. It's fresh and dark and dreamy. The voice is clear and distinct as ever as he navigates through a broken distorted world of conflict and political unease. No rotten tomatoes on this album.
