Numan returns to cinematic futuristic soundscapes on savage. It's fresh and dark and dreamy. The voice is clear and distinct as ever as he navigates through a broken distorted world of conflict and political unease. No rotten tomatoes on this album.

Solid effort. More accessible that splinter with a steady undercurrent of Arabic grooves. Topical current. For me, his most noteworthy release in two decades.
