Incredibly delicate sounding minimalism/post rock/slowcore.
Tbh if this was an American rather than Australian band I’d add an ‘americana’ genre tag in there too - in a similar way to fellow aussies Dirty Three.
Sections of this album are flat out beautiful.
A really good album I liked all of the tracks a lot it sounds so beautiful my favs were Trying to Lift a Rock With a Bottle on Your Head and I Don't Think About You Anymore but, I Don't Think About You Anyless
I've never felt so sad, yet so... Calm, for an album before. The album starts simple, but ends like as if someone shut the white noise from a TV off. It's something truly unique.
To be fair, this is the first post-rock crescendocore album I've fully experienced before, but it's very... Dreading, and melancholic, the title track itself almost made me shed a tear, which is extremely rare for me. Yet it almost did. Truly, it's an album worth listening to.
