Just like the game, the soundtrack is expresses so much emotion that honestly makes me teary-eyed. It's rare for a video game soundtrack to be one of the best albums of an entire decade. Just take some time out of your day and listen to Weight of the World. Peak human creation right there
I really don't think video game soundtracks get enough credit. Video games have some of the most interesting and incredible music out there and the really great soundtracks are able to stand on their own as a studio album would. This is one of those soundtracks.

While it definitely stands amongst some of the top VGMs oat, I don't think this has as many hard-hitting tracks as NieR Replicant's OST, but this is all very very solid nonetheless.
Not only does it masterfully work with the game’s philosophical undertones and messaging, but it provides an at times otherworldly experience that takes you in no man’s land.
