O projeto de Paul McCartney com a banda Wings é satisfatório, acerta em alguns pontos como nas partes vocais principalmente. Ele começa ótimo, porém depois da metade a qualidade tem uma pequena queda com música bem monótomas como "No Words" e "Picasso's Last Words".
Destaque para a faixa título e "Jet".

As someone who is a huge McCartney fan but not a huge Wings fan, I can confidently say that this is the best album that they released together. "Nineteen-Hundred and Eighty-Five" may be a top 3 solo Beatle song for me.

Without a doubt some of Paul's best work after the Beatles!


Made under hellish circumstances, 'Band On the Run' is a hell of an enjoyable pop album. McCartney's melodies come across smoothly and one can't help but relish at the sound of these tunes. It's not a masterpiece, but a strong case could be made for the inclusion of many of these songs in the pop pantheon.


While it has some of the most memorable songs that McCartney has ever wrote and it is the best Wings album. For me, Band On The Run just doesn't has the same quality as his earlier solo records.

Favorite Tracks: Band On The Run, Jet, Let Me Roll It, Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five.


I am floored after this album. The title track is one of my favourite rock songs of all time, it is infectious from the first listen and I cannot get it out of my head 2 weeks after first listening to it. Other than Mamunia and Picasso I adored all the other tracks, more specifically Mrs. Vandebilt and 19&85.
