Fragile is a masterpiece. It’s just one of those albums where from the very first seconds of Roundabout, you can tell it’s a big deal. It’s also another one of Yes’s first true Yes albums, and the sound presented on Fragile (as well as on The Yes Album) would be the sound that fans would come to know and love for the rest of the band’s career...kind of. While the Yes Album introduced the band's trademark sound, this one expanded on it and took the band to new and very impressive heights. The instrumentals on this album are even more wild, the mixing is even better, and the long songs are some of the best showcases of their skill the band would ever release.
