I've meant to give this album a longer review and give it well deserved exposure, and since I just recommended it to someone I couldn't help but give it a listen and rememeber why I love it so much.

And love it so much, I do. Vast and Vordul are such a massive pairing, playing off of each others bars with some of the most intelligent, well articulated, and well timed lyricism in the history of hip hop. Def Jux came into the world with a bang. How high does El-P rank among the most important figures in underground hip-hop history? Gotta be pretty damn high. His production is god-tier across this whole thing. Vast and Vordul are both solid lyricists and fantastic rappers. It has aged better than a lot of hip-hop from the era.
