Listening to this album is a grueling experience.
It’s extremely repetitive, with most songs having very little in the way of changes in dynamics.
It’s also very, very generic. Every vocal melody, every baseline, every riff is as bland as a Mcdonald’s happy meal.
This album isn’t even bad in a particularly offensive way, it’s just devoid of any wonder or creativity.

Is this a fucking joke? The main guitar riff on the opening track “I Would Have Waited Forever” sounds goofy as shit and is LITERALLY out of key. There isn't really anything on here I'd call egregiously bad, it's just so fucking long. So much filler. There are some solid tracks but I just wouldn't even come back to this in full.

Kinda overhated. While I do agree with some things like the album length could have been shorter since there's quite a few filler/boring tracks. Though I think some tracks are great. My personal favorites are actually the more ambient adjacent tracks such as Angkor Wat and Evensong, though I do think the first couple tracks from this album is also good. Cut out 1/3rd of this album and I would rate it around the 80-85 range.
