Two Against Nature is the 20 year comeback album for 2 of the greatest songwriters since Lennon-McCartney or even the George and Ira Gershwin. Donald Fagen and Walter Becker are an amazing duo, whose initial run of 7 albums from 1972's Can't Buy a Thrill to 1980's Gaucho contained some of the best Jazz-inflected Rock and Pop, that has rarely been matched, if ever bettered.

Honestly, it isn't that bad. Yes, that element of vitality that Steely Dan made themselves known for is not quite there, but other things such as the instrumentation and vocals are pretty good.
