Em seu primeiro projeto musical, Rina Sawayama explora e entrega um verdadeiro tributo ao pop dos anos 90 e 2000, onde ela faz isso misturando uma gigantesca diversidade de elementos e influências dentro de 8 faixas. E o que parece ser pouco, acaba transbordando qualidade e nostalgia na medida certa, tornando 'RINA' um dos poucos trabalhos que cumpriram com o objetivo inicial, e ainda por cima revelou ao mundo um dos nomes que compõe o futuro da música.

Um grande começo para Rina Sawayama, esse EP tem uma sonoridade deliciosa de ouvir e tem uma produção muito boa, destaque para "Ordinary Superstar", "Take Me As I Am" e "Alterlife".

I’ve heard of Rina Sawayama through her recent collab with Charli XCX in the song “Beg For You”, which was a pretty decent track but not really my favorite from the album. However, I heard a lot of good things about this EP, and considering the fact that it’s about 25 minutes in length, I decided to give it a listen. This EP did not disappoint me whatsoever. Just remembered this is great. Rina's voice is amazing and she worked it so good with these pop sounds, also the themes the songs are about are so relatable it hurts.
