Altogether, In Your Own Sweet Time, is a solid effort from a seasoned band, and promises more spontaneous musical performances for the band ahead, be it on tour promoting this record or in any follow-ups. The Fratellis share a lot of fun on this record and it's worth listening to for that sheer delight.

In Your Own Sweet Time can seem a little stiff and fussy, but the group's instincts remain sound, and that helps turn this album into something handsome instead of something stuffy.

While it's in one sense unfair to shackle the group to a past moment of glory, it's near impossible not to when their track was associated with one of the biggest brands in music. Fortunately the brothers Fratelli have long since found their sound and audience and are doing their own thing, just the way both parties want it.

Should've learned from Kaiser Chiefs' mistake.
A nice and pretty fun album. It's nothing like their other albums, but there are some pretty enjoyable moments on it.
It was a below average album, but it wasn't necessarily bad.
