Radio Silence is a jazzy, soulful call to action, a think-piece and a middle-finger to the trolls who claim he fell off; you can still find his name "in the middle of equality."

lyrically this is a incredibly solid talib album, his rapping is as good as ever but I thought some of the beat choices were pretty questionable, particularly on All of Us, Chips & Knockturnal. Overall though it's a likeable album that I can't get too mad at even if it failed to leave much of a major impression on me, also Travelling Light is one of the best songs this year.

I've never was really that impressed by any talib record much aside from Train of Thought. This is probably the best of his fully solo albums aside from Quality.
Purchasing Radio Silence from Amazon helps support Album of the Year.
