Satan Is a Lawyer is literally one of the best metal songs I have ever heard
Most people seem to think that is a meat and potatoes death metal album which I couldn't disagree with more. Sure, it isn't as progressive as some of their later albums and isn't the sound you'd first think of upon someone bringing up Gojira. However I do think it is by far their most scary and unsettling. Terra Incognita seems to be Gojira's most straight death metal album. While I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, I do much prefer the more progressive they go with in future projects.

As always with Gojira, the sound is expertly done. The intense vocals; the catchy yet aggressive guitar riffs; the crazy drumming; I feel like I've repeated this in every one of my reviews for this band, but even at their earliest every member does a masterful performance.
