This is my longest review ever

From Mars To Sirius is a masterpiece in every sense of the word. This album is a concept record, telling of our character traveling from the ocean planet to Sirius-C to fix the planet on the brink of destruction due to global warming. This album is loud, abrasive, apocalyptic, surprisingly diverse, and larger than life. This also has one of my favorite productions of any album ever. Gojira have always excelled at crafting their signature style of thundering Prog-Death, but this album is where they push their sound in a more cerebral and melodic direction. On FMTS, we get a collection of Prog-Metal epics, but cut down to remove any filler. Every song is a constant twist and turn, with the near 8-minute long tracks "Flying Whales" and "Global Warming" proving that Gojira can make a lengthy cut, but still keep their excellent songwriting intact.
