After some troubling years in the industry Hopsin comes out swinging on his latest release.

He attempts to continue his fringe content while bringing out a more distinguished approach on his fifth studio album, No Shame.

Hopsin’s past lamentations about ex-girlfriends who wronged him and his struggle to find his place in the world were relatable, and at times even endearing. But his unashamed pose and poor-me rhetorics grow tired here, not only because of their egregious nature but also because we’ve heard this from Hop so many times before.
The Needle Drop

No Shame is not without a few highlights, but on the whole it's Hopsin's most tone-deaf album to date.

No Shame is a misfired revenge stunt. He takes aim at several targets and whiffs spectacularly, producing the worst album of his career, filled with tryhard wordplay and defamation that verges on abuse.

Another great release from Hopsin where I am absolutely stunned by his storytelling and lyrical ability. He goes hard as fuck while still being able to tell some great advice. While not as impressive as Pound Syndrome, it still shows that Eminem and Hopsin are the only good rappers of the 2010's. The album starts off with a very heart-wrenching story about how nice Hopsin is and how much of a fucking bitch his ex-girlfriend is. This starts the central idea of the album but unlike any other ... read more

When I was a teenager I was a Hopsin fan. (Though perhaps it was more of his involvement with Ruthless Records and getting signed to the legendary label, looking back now.)

However I grew up and realized something, Hopsin is an Edgelord who can't put together a cohesive album or go through a project without sounding like a spoiled child.

Such is the case here; Hopsin who is the literal embodiment of "fake nice-guy's" takes the time out of his day to tell his son in a song he'd ... read more
Hopsin's best album.
Jesus..I thought hopsin would pull through with an improvement, this s possibly his preachiest and quite frankly his most morally rotten. Songs like Hotel In Sydney, All Your Fault and Ill Mind Of Hopsin are more reasons for me to hate Hopsin as a person. This album still has some highlights.. I guess like the bombastic Witch Doctor and The Purge and maybe Panorama City, but his lack of good choruses also harm those singles. I feel bad for the mother of his child with all these mean spirited, ... read more
