Leave it to Southern Lord to give a group with a big Converge-like sound the honor it deserves. Big rolling bass fills the mix with an orderly and doomy sludge sound that carries a very interesting listen across the play with atmosphere and swagger amidst the heavy sound. It's a dope style that is actually down to ear with lyrics being very distinguishable and not flowery.
SECT is a such a cool mix of influences. Comprised of members of Fall Out Boy, Earth Crisis, and Undying,
like the soundtrack to a man on the edge of going on some kind of rampage, this album both haunts and excites you
