One of the few bands of the post-punk era that still hangs around, making fool of its members even if they try hard, like this time, to avoid the foreseen embarrassment.
Unfortunately, this is every bit as formulaic as you would expect from a band whose peak came many years before. (But what a peak it was.)
Honestly, this album review is gonna be pretty similar to my last (Kyle Craft's Full Circle Nightmare), because it’s an alright sounding album that I feel like just kinda recreates tunes of a time now passed. I don’t mind taking influence from older sounds, or if you do take that sound to update it in some fresh and personal way, but this literally just sounded so basic that it’s alright sound got, again, diminished by not adding anything fresh for me.
